London is chock-full of eateries – some adequate, some less so, many absolutely superb – so we have always known that competition is fierce. This in many ways does not matter to us, our only competition is with ourselves – who else can hold one to a higher standard? In our constant quest to be the best Thai restaurant in London we look to Tripadvisor for the honest and unvarnished opinions of our diners. This week we’d like to share a few more with you. First, user naynaytiffany:
The food was absolutely amazing! Seriously fabulous experience. The staff greet you in the traditional Thai way. Such a wonderful set of staff. I went with my partner for my birthday and it was the best dining experience. The food was exceptional. We ordered the set menu banquet 3 course meal which was a selection of 6 starters and 6/7 mains for two followed by a desert!!! The flavours were fantastic! The Thai green curry-delicious, sweet and sour sea-bass- epic, Thai fish cakes and wraps to start just divine.
So happy to have been able to provide a good experience on such an important occasion! Next, would user Foodiefiend222 place us among the best Thai restaurants in London?
This venue is located in a hive of activity on Greek Street and is beautifully presented. It is modern, but incorporates the relaxed, warm welcoming vibe of any restuarant found in Thailand. The staff are very friendly and had a great knowledge of the products they serve, immediately helping me to find the vegan options in the menu. There was a lot of choice and it was difficult to choose because everything was appealing.
The food was exquisite and is on a level with the finest food I’ve ever eaten. I honestly can’t do the food justice with my review. I shared the corn fritters and nori- tofu shiitake satay with my friend and we were both amazed at how delicious and fresh the dishes were. The sauces were out of this world and the tofu was a nice firm texture, cooked perfectly. I had the penang tofu for my main with sticky rice and my friend ate the panang beef with wok fried rice with egg. We were thoroughly impressed, eating ourselves into a state of sleepy fullness. The portions were decent sizes and the penang sauce was the best ever.
The staff were attentive throughout our visit and accommodated us as walk ins customers without making any issues, despite being nearly full on a Friday night. This place is a bit pricier, but worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back.
It seems they would! All of this does not make us rest on our laurels, it spurs us on to greater things – we have seen what we can achieve and it’s being one of the best Thai restaurants in London and, hopefully, the world.
